We started trials of pfingo services one month ago and we want to thank you for providing us a lot of valuable feedback about what you liked and where you thought we could do better. So we have been hard at work at trying to incorporate as many of your suggestions as we could and we are glad to inform you that we are announcing the newest releases of our pfingoTALK and pfingoACTIVE [1] software today!

What's new in pfingoTALK PC Softphone v2.4.2RC?

- Corporate connectivity support Using pfingoTALK in the office? The pfingoTALK PC Softphone now provides initial support for firewalls and proxies. 

 

- Forgot your PIN? When you upgrade the pfingoTALK PC Softphone in the future, it will never forget your PIN again! In the meantime, we have put in a handy link to fire up the pfingoTALK web portal so that you can get the PIN resent to your email.

- Incoming call alerts Have you been missing your calls because you have turned your PC speakers off? A pop-up window will alert you when you have an incoming call. 

- Calling from Call History

View the list of people who you made calls to and who called you by clicking the Call History button. You can even easily make a call to any number on the list simply by double-clicking on it!

- Tool tips

What do all those buttons on the PC Softphone do? Get quick help when you mouse over the key pad for a quick tip on what that button is for.

What's new in pfingoACTIVE [1] Mobile Java Client v3.1.0RC?

- Giant address book support and improved search

Do you have thousands of contacts? No problem! We have improved support for large address books and search is now available immediately when you launch the contacts application. We have also reorganized the way search works to make it even more user-friendly!

- Improved RSS support Want to read the full news article instead of just the headlines? Click Options and select Go to URL to have your phone's default browser launch automatically to view the entire article.

- Improved power management

The new pfingoACTIVE [1] Mobile Java Client now has improved power management to reduce battery consumption even while you are connected to pfingoACTIVE. [1] Now you never have to log off again!

- Faster on your phone Some users have experienced sluggish response from the application on certain mobile phones like the Nokia N95. The new pfingoACTIVE [1] Mobile Java Client fixes these issues and just flies on these phones!

Subject: suggestions

add conference calls functionality, video calls (in the future) dat can connect to 3G or pc-pc. minimise and exit button put further apart more or make it more obvious.
