| iPhone Client (Suggestion) |
Hi, Andrew here.
I think an iPhone client is a very good idea.
It would provide a very good way to spread pfingoMOBILE into other operator's territory.
Either way, the iPhone SDK is powerful and can easily interact with the user's contacts and calendar, which makes it very easy to pull together with pfingoMOBILE's features.
Personally, I'm using Fring for iPhone (http://www.fring.com/), which works very well, with the exception of SMS support, otherwise I would use pfingo as my primary number.
There are already open-source SIP application projects for the iPhone (http://code.google.com/p/siphon/) and an operator, sip.free.fr, is offering SIP on the iPhone with an app that is locked to themselves.
Also, Apple has allowed VoIP applications as long as they are restricted to using WiFi networks.
I strongly suggest considering expansion into the iPhone/iPod Touch territory, as this sector is going to continue growing as Apple adds new capabilities such as Push services.
Thanks for your time :)
